Mexican Salsa

In honor of the upcoming New Year’s Eve, I am posting a bunch of recipes for home-cooked appetizers.

This recipe – I have no idea where it came from. It makes a very liquid sort of salsa. And it is not subtle. It says “Raw onions! Raw garlic! Jalapenos!” But after having a few chips with it, it gets to be quite a rush.

4 ripe tomatoes
½ onion
2 cloves garlic
3 jalapenos

Seed and dice jalapenos; if you want to increase the heat level, leave the seeds in. Dice all other ingredients. Mix together in large bowl. Add salt to taste. Chill in the refrigerator to mix the flavors.
