6 cups flour
2 cups Crisco
2 teaspoons salt
12 tablespoons water
Reserved 1 cup flour. In a large bowl mix remaining flour and salt. Cut the shortening into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Blend the reserved flour with the water. Mix this gently into the flour mixture, making sure not to over-stir. Then form four pie crusts from the resulting dough.
