Cranberry Cherry Pie

Dough for two crust 9 inch pie.
2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen
¾ cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
can of cherry pie filling (21 ounces)

  1. Prepare pie crusts. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, and cornstarch; mix well. Stir in cherry pie filling; mix lightly.
  3. Spoon into pie crust lined pan. Roll out top crust; top the pie. Cut slits in top crust to allow steam to escape.
  4. Bake at 425° for 35 to 45 min. or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbling.
  5. (Cover the edge of the crust with foil after 15 to 20 min. to prevent excessive browning.
