Dough for two crust 9 inch pie.
2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen
¾ cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
can of cherry pie filling (21 ounces)
- Prepare pie crusts. Preheat oven to 425°.
- In a large bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, and cornstarch; mix well. Stir in cherry pie filling; mix lightly.
- Spoon into pie crust lined pan. Roll out top crust; top the pie. Cut slits in top crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake at 425° for 35 to 45 min. or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbling.
- (Cover the edge of the crust with foil after 15 to 20 min. to prevent excessive browning.
