Tater-Tot-Topped Casserole

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 can (10 ¾ ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
¼ cup milk
1 cup frozen French-cut green beans
1 cup shredded Mexican 4-cheese blend or Cheddar
1 pound Tater Tots® or similar potato cylinders

  1. Heat oven to 375° F. Brown meat with onions in skillet, stirring occasionally. Drain. Spoon into 8 in. square baking dish.
  2. Mix soup and milk, pour over meat mixture. Top with the green beans, then cheese, and finally potatoes.
  3. Bake 45 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown and casserole is heated through.
